Youngstown State (7-17, 2-0 Horizon) took both games of the double header today over Oakland (7-13,0-2 Horizon). In the night cap Youngstown State had to come back from being down 2-0 early. Lexi Zappitelli (Conneaut ) led the winners with 3 RBI and a big home run.
Grace Cea (North Canton Hover) had 4 hits and a RBI. Tatum Christy (Akron Manchester), Elizabeth Birkbeck (Orrville) and Nikki Saibene (Perry) each drove in a run for the winners.
For Oakland, Mikayela Marciniak (Plymouth, Mich) led the way with 2 hits and 2 RBI. Jamie Squires (Salem, Mich0 had a RBI.
