Once upon a time the NIT was the premier college post season basketball tournament . I find the NIT to be more interesting than the NCAA because of the variety of smaller, lessor known schools.

Upset city tonight!! #6 Harvard beats #3 Georgetown. #6 Wichita State beats #3 Furman. And biggest of all, #8 Norfolk State beats #1 Alabama.

Ohio University Women won 68-60 last night over WKU. The win last night gives OU 30 wins. This is first team ever men’s or women to reach 30 wins. OU takes on Northwestern Saturday

I paid the $15 to watch Ohio U vs Northwestern online. I would watch it on my high dollar projector at 200” but it looks like 480p quality

Ohio U lost 61-58. OU was up for 99% of the game but just couldn’t score at the very end. Even tho OU loses Doseck, they still should be loaded. Doseck will be coaching next year at Valparaiso as a grad assistant. Great career at Athens and Ohio University

Texas wins the NIT, defeating Lipscomb Thursday night, 81-66.
