OSU took an early 2-0 lead after 3 innings, but then trailed 7-3 after 5 innings. The Buckeyes then proceeded to score 7 runs over the final 3 innings to pull out a comeback win. Leading the way for OSU was Revels who went 2-for-4 with a home run and 5 RBI, as well as Rott who went 3-for-4 with a solo home run.

Andrew Magno (2-3) took the win on the mound pitching the final 1.1 innings and gave up just 1 hit.

They play Dayton at home tonight.

The Buckeyes (18-16) picked up their second consecutive non-conference victory of the week on Wednesday night, as they beat Dayton (18-14-1) in Columbus by a final score of 4-2. Dayton picked up the lead for the first time in this one in the top of the third on a fielder's choice that allowed the run to score, and then a two-out RBI single off the bat of Riley Toretta, but that would be the end of the Flyers scoring on the night. OSU scored in the bottom of the inning on a wild pitch that allowed Zach Dezenzo to cross home plate, to trail 2-1.

OSU then tallied one more run in the bottom of the 6th to tie things up as Brady Cherry hit a sac fly that allowed Dominic Canzone to cross the plate, after he double, then reached third on a balk. Finally, in the 8th inning, the Buckeyes were able to take a 2-run lead. The bases were loaded when Conner Pohl walked to bring in one run, followed by a sac fly by Dillon Dingler in the inning.

Dominic Canzone led the Buckeyes with a 2-for-4 performance, where he also scored twice. Jake Vance (3-2) picked up another victory in relief for the Buckeyes, as he went 4 innings of 3-hit, no run baseball.

Aaron Ernst took the loss for Dayton in relief, giving up 2 runs in 2 innings pitched.

Next up is a tough one for Ohio State, as they host a 3-game series against a very good receiving votes Michigan team beginning on Friday.

It was a weekend where the Buckeyes just couldn't quite get over the hump, as they were swept by Minnesota in Minneapolis. In their single game on Saturday, the two teams went into 18 innings (yes, that's right) where the Gophers pulled out a 5-4 victory. They then played a double-header on Sunday, where Minnesota won another one run game, 3-2, and then smashed the Buckeyes in the second game, 11-2.

Needing a win, Ohio State rallied for a non-conference victory tonight in Columbus over a receiving votes Wright State team, 6-5.

This weekend, Ohio State will host a three game series against Penn State, Friday-Sunday.

It was just the series they needed to earn a spot in the Big Ten Tournament. The Buckeyes earned a 3-game sweep on the road over Purdue over the weekend. After a 7-0 shutout on Thursday, the Buckeyes earned another dominant win on Friday, defeating the Boilermakers 6-1. Then Saturday turned into a slug fest, where OSU blasted 6 home runs on their way to a 13-11 victory and the series sweep.

Ohio State has received the #7 seed in the conference tournament, and will be playing the #2 seed Michigan in the first round on Wednesday at 1pm in Omaha. The Buckeyes are 2-1 against Michigan this season.

Big Ten Tournament Champions!!!! The Buckeyes (#7 seed) became the lowest ever seed to win the Big Ten Tournament title. They did so by defeating Nebraska 3-1 on Sunday afternoon. So, OSU will be headed to the big dance, and will get the Big Ten's automatic bid for the NCAA Tournament. This is their 10th Big Ten tournament championship, tied for the most of any team.

Ohio State will learn their NCAA fate on Monday.
