Sophomore walk on, Tommy Kuhse (Mesa, AZ) had a career high 17 points to help St. Mary's (14-9, 5-3 West Coast Conf) defeat a good San Francisco (17-5, 5-3 Conf) today by six points. The Gaels blasted off to a 17 point lead at the half and held on for the win. At one point the Dons cut the lead to three late but could not get any closer. Malik Fitts (Rancho Cucamonga, CA) led the Gales with 29 points, and 8 rebounds. Jordan Ford (Folsom, CA) helped out with 26 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assist.

San Francisco got 22 points from both Frankie Ferrari (Burlingame, CA) and Charles Minlend (Concord, NC)
