OSU picked up another win over the weekend in conference play by defeating visiting Minnesota on Sunday, 5-2. The Buckeyes weren't quite as dominant as they have been in singles, but it was good enough for the win. The Gophers pulled out victories at #2 and #6 singles.

Ohio State will next host two matches this coming weekend, when they play Purdue on Friday and Indiana on Sunday.

The Buckeyes picked up another conference win last night at home against Purdue, winning 4-2. Surprisingly, Purdue picked up their only singles win at #1 singles, and their only double win at #1 doubles.

Their next match will be on Sunday when they host Indiana in their final home match of the season.

It was Senior Day for the Buckeyes on Sunday, as they hosted Indiana, and cruised to a 6-1 victory. OSU cruised to victories in all 3 doubles matches, and 5 of the 6 singles matches. The only match the Buckeyes lost on the day was at #1 single, for a second straight match.

Next up, Ohio State will wrap up the regular season next weekend as they travel to Northwestern on Saturday and Illinois on Sunday.

After two more wins, the Buckeyes jumped from #21 to #18 in this week's poll. They will face two very good receiving votes teams on the road this weekend.

It wasn't a great way for the Buckeyes to start their weekend in the state of Illinois, as they fell to a receiving votes Northwestern team, 5-2. OSU received victories at #1 singles and at #4 singles.

Ohio State wraps up their regular season on Sunday when they head to Champaign to take on Illinois.

For a second consecutive road match over the weekend, the Buckeyes fell to another solid receiving votes team in the state of Illinois, as they fell to Illinois 4-2 on Sunday. OSU only picked up victories at #3 and #5 singles.

That ends the regular season, and Ohio State received the #4 seed in the conference tournament, and they will play the #5 seed Northwestern in the quarterfinals on Friday at 10am.

OSU is now at the hand of the selection committee, as they fell in the quarterfinals of the Big Ten Tournament on Friday, falling 4-0 to Northwestern. Making that the second time in the last week that they lost to the Wildcats. The Buckeyes have been ranked in the top 25 the entire season, except for week 1, will that be enough to sneak into the NCAA Tournament regionals?

Ohio State received and at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament, announced earlier on Monday. They will travel to Nashville for the Vanderbilt Regional and will play a solid receiving votes (#39) Georgia Tech team in the first round. The Buckeyes are 1-0 against Georgia Tech this year, after defeating them back in January (4-0) in the ITA Kickoff Weekend in Atlanta. Their match against GT will be this Friday at 1pm.

If they should win that match, they will advance to the second round on Saturday to play the winner of Miami (OH) vs. Vanderbilt.

As far as team play goes, the Buckeyes wrapped up their season on Friday when they fell to Georgia Tech 4-3 in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. Doubles play was all OSU in this one, but they struggled a little in singles, losing at #1, #2, #4 and #6.

Isabelle Boulais will compete in the NCAA Tournament in Singles play later in the month in Orlando.

Isabelle Boulais, the Big Ten Freshman of the Year and the ITA Midwest Region Freshman of the Year, ended her season on Monday in the NCAA Singles Tournament. She lost her first round match to Fernanda Contreras of Vanderbilt, the #6 overall seed, in an exciting back-and-forth match. That match ends Boulais' season with an overall record of 16-14, and a record of 15-8 in dual matches.
