If not for the injuries ND would have had Clemson and Stanford.

Id think if that did occur... the BIG XII or ACC would have been left out again since Oklahoma was the 4 seed. And or maybe Clemson.

Notre Dame was better than Clemson if Malik Zaire didn't get hurt. Actually rooted for him because he played in Athens region

A source is saying Bosa might be moved to Adolphus Washingtons position for this game.

Va Tech and Indiana were better than osu on those game days if M Brewer and Sudfeld are not out injured 2nd Half. Not to mention Jordan Howard.

HEY GUYS THIS TOPIC HAD ROLLED BACK TO THE SECOND PAGE. THIS IS BIG STUFF HERE.

AND ND HEAD COACH HIMSELF EVEN SAID THE GOLDEN DOMERS ARE PLAYING THE BEST TEAM IN THE USA. I BELIEVE HE'S ONTO SOMETHING MYSELF.

I like your enthusiasm, but with the advent of the CFP, the non championship games have become even more meaningless as exhibitions. Even among the most homersish of fans, there is little fervor for the Fiesta bowl. Face it, given the expectations the Buckeyes had for the 2015 season, playing in the Fiesta Bowl represents failure of a sort. I am sure we will watch the game and root for the Bucks, but our compelling involvement with the Ohio State season ended on November 21st. Success has spoiled the Ohio State football program and their fans.

I can somewhat agree. but just like the Carolina panthers found out. a loss sometimes focuses a team. the general consensus I hear in the Carolina locker room was one of relief as reported by the nfl network. but I'm a bengals fan anyway. but ohio state had been squeaking by so many inferior opponents, and were playing down to their levels. the Spartan loss apparently eased the burden some. I'm sure the entire football program must be kicking themselves. but then they traveled to Michigan and just destroyed the wolverines who were convinced they could upset the buckeyes. hopefully urban takes over the offensive reigns. this game is huge. and a big statement as far as recruiting. it's sad that we view an amazing season with 1 loss as somewhat of a disappointment. we've become very spoiled as buckeye fans. myself included. but this is a huge game that's kinda got swept under the rug. the sad thing is us diehard buckeye fans knew what we had. but seen it being used wrong offensively. I kept thinking, we're gonna get this ironed out. I mean who am I to question urban meyer. I think we clearly saw if urban ran the offense, he is going to aggressively pound you into submission. personally I think the golden domers are in for a huge storm.

I too am ready for the game to be played just out of curiosity. It will simply come down to which team is the most focused, and I fear that may not be Ohio State.

I fear I hope you're wrong omega. a lot at stake here recruiting wise and the ohio state/notre dame rivalry.

I think OSU should win as long as eazy e don't get any more speeding tickets and driving under suspenkeeks. Notre Dame should be prepared well with their tough schedule and it wouldn't surprise me if they did win, but I just don't see them winning for some reason.

Did the Irish have several starters on the defensive secondary suspended for this game?

Apparently one starter suspended for team rules violations (being late for practices?) and one to miss the bowl game due to injury.

I really do not think this will cause a dramatic change in the outcome of the game, but might give the Buckeyes a little more courage to throw deep routes against the Domers.
