Valenth's Top 10 CFB Poll 12/6/15

Post by Valenth »

Sadly No Chaos occurred. However one play might have changed the face of this Final Poll. (We will discuss later in the Post.)

1. Clemson - ACC Champ
2. Alabama - SEC Champ
3. Oklahoma - BIG XII Champ
4. Michigan State - B1G Champ

5. Stanford - PAC12 Champ
6. Ohio State
7. Iowa
8. Notre Dame
9. Florida State
10. TCU

#1. Why I put Ohio State over Iowa for the #6 Spot. Despite BOTH Teams losing to Sparty by 3... Iowa didnt play Ohio State or Michigan. Plus Michigan shut out Iowas best quality win in Northwestern. Plus Ohio States schedule strength is higher than Iowas.
#2. The Offsides call that prevented Chaos? YES... an Offsides call by an official against UNC in the ACC Championship game may have cost UNC or maybe even Ohio State a CFP Spot. No UNC Player was offsides.

Some say Iowa will only drop to 5 by the committee and will be the invite to the Rose. If that happens, might be OSU-Notre Dame in Fiesta

I think in the committees eyes... the only thing that held Iowa up was an undefeated record. Why else were they always 4th and not 2nd or 3rd? Iowas scedule strength is WORSE than Ohio States.

NOT SAYING OHIO STATE SHOULD HAVE BEEN IN TOP 4. WE BLEW OUR CHANCE. BUT REALITY IS STANFORD LOST 2.

1. Clemson - ACC Champ (unfpdefeated)
2. Alabama - SEC Champ (lost to Ole Miss)
3. Oklahoma - BIG XII Champ (lost to Texas)
4. Michigan State - B1G Champ (lost to Nebraska)
THE COMMITTEE HOWEVER FLIPS OKLAHOMA AND MICHIGAN STATE TO SET UP THE FINAL THEY WANT WITH ALABAMA & OKLAHOMA - INTERESTING.

5. Ohio State - 1 loss by 3 to Michigan State
6. Iowa - 1 loss by 3 to Michigan State
7. Stanford - sorry, 2 losses
8. Notre Dame
9-10. Who cares

Valenth,
The Committee flipped Oklahoma and Michigan State to set up the Championship they want between Alabama and Oklahoma. Why else elevate Sparty over the Sooners?

HOWEVER... There is possibly another reason why Oklahoma dropped.. Baylor was their top win. And Baylor lost to Texas. But I do believe this committee is in bed with ESPN to get this Ratingspalooza.
