THIS WILL BE A HOMECOMING OF SORTS AS THE BUCKEYES INVADE ''HOOSIER DADDY'' LAND, AS THE BUCKEYES OPEN IN A RARE AWAY GAME TO START THE SEASON, AND A PIVOTAL BIG TEN GAME RIGHT OFF'N THE BAT. AND OUR NEW OFFENSIVE CO-ORDINATOR IS NONE OTHER THAN THE COACH THAT TURNED THE HOOSIER PROGRAM AROUND, COACH WILSON. SO THE FELLERS FROM INDIANA WILL BE AMPED UP FOR THIS ONE. THE BUCKEYES BETTER BE MAKING A STATEMENT TO THE BIG TEN, THE COUNTRY AND ALL OTHER PROGRAMS ABOUT NOT HAVING A SLOW, SLUGGISH START TO THE SEASON, AND DECLARING THEIR INTENTIONS RIGHT OUTTA THE GATE. AS COACH URBAN MEYER IS FRESH OFF HIS 1ST SHUTOUT EVER AS A COACH, AND HAS HAD ALL OF SEASON TO REMEMBER A THRASHING AT THE HANDS OF THE NATIONAL CHAMPION CLEMSON TIGERS. YOU CAN BET HE'S BEEN STEWING. NO EXCUSES , BUT WE DID HAVE 43 FROSH ON OUR TEAM. SO THE BUCKEYES WILL BE A LIL OLDER N WISER, AND START WITH A BIG TEST RIGHT OUT OF THE SHUTE.

GO BUCKEYES HAVE A GREAT SEASON. EXPECTATIONS ARE THROUGH THE ROOF.

Very odd they are opening up with a conference game! Anybody know the reason for that? As for prediction Bucks should roll!

38-14 buckeyes slow start season opener

2 things scare me about this game:

1.) We now have their ex head coach as our Offensive coordinator. I think Indiana will come out and play like they are on fire at home, night game and its like their Super Bowl.

2.) Oklahoma lurks the following week. Potential trap game if OSU is not mentally preparing for Indiana and looking past them to OK. Indiana under Wilson gave us fits defensively with some very close games the past 6 years.

With that being said, the offensive line should be much improved this year and we have tons of play makers. If the offense isnt sluggish, I think the final score is:

OSU 42
Indiana 20

I don't know trench every year I get uber excited about the bucks blowing early opponents away. and the bucks just tend to start out foggy early in their schedule just doing enough to win. this needs to be a statement game where nothing is overlooked, trickeration, onside kicks or anything. and with boomer sooner the following week at the shoe, I certainly hope they are not lookin ahead and get bited right in the caboose. let's face it we looked like a deer in the head lights against dabo's boys. let's hope that memory has been the drill bit the whole off season, and they kerslode outta the gates.

Ohio State 34 Indiana 17. Plenty of first game mistakes to go around.

I'm gonna guess a 17 points victory for the Buckeyes, the Hoosiers will get fired up for this game at Indiana, week 1, Thursday night primetime, in a game where their former head coach is the OC. I would love for the Buckeyes to come out and make a statement in game 1 winning by 30 plus, but I don't see it happening.

o n b kevin Wilson thinks so. ohio states o-coord. I heard him on the radio today say so. he thinks they have came a long way in the last several years. and will be very pumped hosting the number 2 team in the land in a big ten opener.
