Huge game tonight for the Buckeyes as they hosted #25 Indiana in Columbus. OSU trailed in this one heading into the 4th and final quarter of the game, but were able to pull out a 55-50 victory over the Hoosiers, on a huge 25 points final quarter. The Buckeyes were led by two very good performances from Carmen Grande (19 points) and Janai Crooms (12 points) in addition to a near double-double from Dorka Juhasz (9 points, 10 rebounds).

Indiana was led by a 12 point performance from Jaelynn Penn.

Now that they are back in the win column, Ohio State will look to extend that on Monday when they host Michigan State.

Facing two consecutive top 25 teams in a row seems like it isn't a huge issue for the Buckeyes lately, as they've started to find their groove. Monday night they defeated #17 Michigan State in Columbus, 65-55. Graduate guard Carly Santoro scored her 1,000th career point on the night, in an overall 25 point effort.

Shay Colley led the Spartan's effort with 18 points on the night.

Next up, Ohio State hits the road as they travel to Penn State on Thursday.

It not only took overtime, but a huge 18-point comeback, for the Buckeyes to earn their third win in a row. This time it was on the road at Penn State on Thursday, 76-71. A lead at the end of the first quarter, propelled the Buckeyes into the next quarter, then they scored the first 5 points of the second quarter. At the half, OSU led 37-35.

The Buckeyes then came out of the halftime break quick which sparked a PSU timeout. Coming out of that timeout, the Nittany Lions then finished the quarter on a 19-2 run. The fourth quarter was mostly OSU, as they get a huge comeback to take the win in overtime.

Ohio State travels to Ann Arbor on Sunday to take on Michigan.

Not a terrible game for OSU, they just couldn't pull out the win.

The team is young, and only dressed ten players last night.
Freshman,Aaliyah Patty is starting to look super.
Transfer Carly Santoro at times can be a force, like last night.
Carmen Grande another transfer seems the same as Santoro.

I enjoyed the game last night.

Agreed!! This team is about 90% freshmen and transfers. They younger players are very obviously improving, and it's exciting to watch. It also helps they have the #3 recruiting class coming in next year.

OSU (13-12; 9-7) went on the road on Thursday night to claim a 77-70 victory over a receiving votes Michigan State (17-9; 7-8). Not only was it the third straight victory for the Buckeyes - who seem to be heating up at the right time - but it was the first home loss of the season for the Spartans. All five Buckeye starters scored in double figures on the night, and they were led by Janai Crooms' 20 points. But another big accomplishment was on the night that Carmen Grande scored her 1,000th career point.

MSU was led by Nia Clouden with 23 points.

Next up, Ohio State will travel to Wisconsin next Thursday.

The Buckeyes (14-12; 10-7) came out victorious for a fourth straight game, as they went 5-2 in the month of February. They defeated Wisconsin (13-16; 4-13) in Madison by a final score of 61-50. OSU led the game at all the quarter breaks, and was only outscored in one quarter (the third), to hang onto the 11 point victory. Carmen Grande led the way with 17 points. Janai Crooms and Carly Santoro each tallied 11 points. And Dorka Juhasz added a 10 point and 14 rebound double-double.

Leading the Badgers was Marsha Howard with 15 points.

Ohio State will wrap up their regular season on Sunday, when they host Rutgers at 2pm.

Unfortunately for the Buckeyes, their final game of the regular season ended in defeat, as they fell to Rutgers in Columbus, 66-56. OSU jumped out to a massive lead after the first quarter, leading 22-9 at the break. Then, the Buckeyes held a 13 point lead at halftime as both teams couldn't gain an advantage in the second quarter. The second half is where Rutgers took the lead and never let go, as they outscored OSU 21-12 and 20-6 in the third and fourth quarters, respectively.

Leading the way for the Buckeyes was Carly Santoro with 13 points and Janai Crooms with 12 points.

Rutgers was led by Arella Guirantes with 19 points in the victory.

The B1G Tournament is next up for Ohio State. They'll travel to Indy to partake. The Buckeyes received the #5 seed and received a first round bye. They'll be playing the winner of the #13 Wisconsin vs. #12 Penn State game on Thursday.

As the favorite early on in the conference tournament (just in the 2nd round), you don't expect a #5 seed to lose to a #12 seed. But, Wisconsin (15-17) was able to do just that on Thursday, as they upset the Buckeyes (14-14), by a final score of 73-63. That win for Wisconsin allowed them a fighting chance for their season to continue. For OSU, that will wrap things up, as they for sure won't be getting a bid to the NCAA's or the NIT with a 14-14 record.

Leading the way for the Buckeyes was Carmen Grande with 12 points, and Dorka Juhasz with a double double (10 points, 16 rebounds).

For the Badgers, leading them to victory was Kelly Karlis with 24 points, and a double double from Marsha Howard with 23 points and 11 rebounds.

Although they didn't make the NCAA Tournament, the Buckeyes did get invited to the NIT. They will host Morehead State in the first round on Wednesday at 7pm.
