Once again that SEC love fest is running rampant. Georgia Dropping only to 8th when they lost by 20 points to LSU...

But they are at will to drop Penn State 10 spots only losing by a TD..

Good news for Ohio State is... If they win out. Now that Sparty is ranked it strengthens their schedule

Well the way the season has played out to date does Ohio State have any true quality wins?? TCU and PSU are proving to be lessor teams.

Not really. TCU gave the game away to ohio. Shawn Robinson, who is a talented kid, cant help from giving the ball up to the teams they play..To ohio...Texas....TTech...They are talented..But inexperienced...Lost 16 starters from last year and 2 more in Pre-season..They beat ohio without the gifts....PSU?.....They gagged down their shirt the last 2 years against this opponent..Cant hold a lead...Cant run the football against ANYONE who can play...Without TMcSorley(Who is elite) psu is a 6-8 win ballclub EVEN in the big 14...The OSU and Rut will probably go 2-22 between them..Indy?...lol...Minny?....They have willing kids up front on D,but a Walk-on rookie QB with a very weak arm and a back-up RB who runs for 160 against ohio!!..WTF...Tulane?....  ....the big 14 is VERY weak from top to bottom...BUT.....Coach Brohm at Purdue and Coach Frost at Nebraska(Even with the dreadful start) are shining stars and will upgrade this conference tremendously....Will be interesting to see who ohio hires...Mary?...The Illini...Rut?....A lot of questions....

You all have very valid points. But until the SEC teams drop these cupcake FCS teams that's on 1 or 2 weeks on their schedule. I know Tulane isn't top notch quality but they are an FBS School but they aren't top notch material but Ohio State usually has at least 1 decent non conference opponent.

I agree. Not only did Georgia lose, they got absolutely embarrased vs LSU. Now that Auburn lost to Tennessee it makes LSU's loss to them even worse.

Georgia should not even be near the top 10. Your comment on scheduling is right on the money. The SEC plays a pitiful non conference schedule.

I guess they should really knock "Ohio" down in the polls since they "should have lost" games. I didnt realize that come from behind wins are not tolerated in the voting. Thanks for clearing that up.
BTW- the SEC has plenty of wins this year that could have went the other way. Why arent you talking about those games?

Notre Dame barely pulled one out against Pitt. Not the only close game against an inferior opponent they have been in.

I suppose playing THE OSU and Tulane does it for some. To each his own. Since 2006 THE SEC has won 9 National Championships by 4 different Universities. 3 other times an SEC team has been runnerup! Now EVERYONE knows THE SEC schools dont play anyone. In games involving big 14 schools against POWER -5 programs Out-Of -Conference since 2006 involving these programs: 1)ohio 2)spart 3)Bucky 4)Michigan 5)PSU 6)the Hawks....These 6 teams are a combined 76-72. During this TIME period these 6 schools have played MAC programs 71 times between them, including 28 "Tussles" against THE directional Michigan schools. They have played 36 Non-FBS schools combined and have been knocked off more than once. Wont mention all the other chaff they play also.

Now..On the other hand involving these programs from the Southeastern Conference:1)Auburn 2)Georgia 3)Florida 4)SCarolina 5)LSU 6)THE TIDE....They are a combined 103-46 during this time period against POWER-5 programs Out-Of -Conference..Including a 29-20 record against the big 14 since 2006 by the entire league...

Go back farther if you want...In the last 26 seasons THE SEC has won 13 rings by 5 different places...

You forgot to show how many FCS schools the SEC plays during their regular season and how many the B1G plays.

Pitt is terrible. ND not impressive but they have improved since the installed the new QB. I would think they would finish 4th or 5th in the B1G.
