AAC to add Wichita State in 2017-18
The American Athletic Conference voted unanimously to add Wichita State to the conference next year. What do you think about this. I believe it's a very good move, it will actually make this conference relevant in basketball.

I think it's a great move for both sides. Adds more quality to the AAC in basketball, and helps make Wichita State more relevant in basketball come tournament time compared to being in the MVC. After seeing this move, I'd like to see the Mountain West try to add Gonzaga in their Olympic sports to make 12 teams in their non-football sports (since Hawaii is in the Mountain West for football only), and then try to add BYU all-sports (if they're willing to give up independence in football) and UTEP all-sports (adds 6th largest city in Texas, 20th in US; adds a decent basketball school) to expand to 14.

Gonzaga, Saint Mary's, BYU, Dayton, VCU and (down right now but usually good) St. Louis are all great basketball programs that could use a bump in conferences.
