#1 seed North Dakota(20-9, 14-4 Conf) started fast and then survived a 3 minute or so scoring drought before hitting their second win, to post the easy win over #8 seed Portland State(5-16, 7-11 Conf)

Leading the winners with 18 was,Corey Baldwin(Bridgeport, Conn) he added 10 rebounds and 5 assist. Quinton Hooker(Brooklyn Park, MN) struggled from the floor going 4 of 12, but he still was able to put in 17 points. He added 7 assist and 4 boards. seven foot Carson Shanks(Prior Lake, MN) came off of the bench to pull down 3 boards and score 12 points.
