Trying to leave Emerson, Georgia and return to Athens with a winning record, the Bobcats were unable to do that, falling big time to Alabama State 12-6. Logan Jacik was tagged with the loss for OU, only going 0.2 innings, giving up 6 runs, all of them earned. The only player for the Bobcats with more than 1 hit was first baseman Rudy Rott who went 2-4 while driving in 2 runs.

The Bobcats travel to Bowling Green, Kentucky to face Western Kentucky in a 3 game set Friday-Sunday.

Playing a double header today, the Bobcats looked to get in the win column against Butler in Athens. Unfortunately, they were unable to do so. Losing both their games to the Bulldogs today, 7-6 and 5-4. Losing all three of their games in the series by one run each. On Tuesday, the Bobcats will make the drive up to Columbus to face off against the Buckeyes.
