What a great final seven minutes or so.
Vermont 23-5, 13-0 Conf led by 17, with about 7:30 left and all looked like this game was over. But someone forgot to tell the University Maryland Baltimore County 16-9, 7-5 Conf that it was all but over.

Thanks to some super full court pressure defense the Retrievers were able to get within a single point before finally running out of time.

Leading Vermont with 22 points off of the bench was,Dre Wills/Indianapolis, Indiana. He also had 13 boards and a block shot.

UMBC was led by K.J. Maura/San Juan, Puerto Rico, who scored 22 points.
