In their first game of the Tennessee Invitational in Knoxville, the Bobcats (9-1) faced off against Southeastern Louisiana (8-8), earning a 5-2 victory. Mikayla Cooper was the top hitter for the Bobcats, she went 2-for-3, driving in 3 runs and scoring 2 more of her own, one of those two hits included a home run. Danielle Stein got the win in the circle for OU, going 4.1 innings, allowing 4 hits, 2 runs (both earned), walking 4 and striking out 2.

The Bobcats are currently battling with host Tennessee in a tight battle.

In a game that surprisingly came down to the very end, #15 Tennessee (15-2) narrowly escaped Ohio (9-2) by a 2-1 mark. Driving in the only run for the Bobcats was Zane Trace grad Morgan Geno who went 1-for-3 on the game, scoring that run was Alex Day. Savannah Dorsey went the distance for OU in the circle giving up just 4 hits, 2 runs (both earned), 4 walks and 5 strikeouts but ultimately taking the loss. The Bobcats played a heck of a game today against the Volunteers.

The Bobcats will continue along with the Tennessee Invitational tomorrow when they face Bradley at 2:30pm.

Continuing a crazy busy week/weekend, the Bobcats played at Western Kentucky last night, and dropped a game to the Hilltoppers, 6-2, which was quite surprising. The Bobcats now head to Louisville for the Louisville Tournament where they will play Northern Iowa and Louisville on Friday, IUPUI on Saturday and Northern Iowa and Wright State on Sunday.

Even though they took it to extra innings, the Bobcats were unable to pull off the win over Louisville, in doing so, OU lost their third consecutive game, 2-1 in 8 innings. There is just one game for the Bobcats tomorrow at the Louisville Tournament, they face off against IUPUI at 10am.

In the morning session, OU fell to Northern Iowa for the second time, this time it was much closer, they fell 2-0. In the afternoon session, the Bobcats really poured it on the Raiders of Wright State, winning 14-6 in just 6 innings of play.
