The Buckeyes recorded their fourth straight win, all shutouts, this time on the road at Stetson, winning 4-0. Leading the Buckeyes in the circle was Lena Springer, allowing just 3 hits over 7 innings of work, allowing 2 walks and fanning 6 batters. The only offense of the game came on a grand slam by Alex Bayne, which is already her 7th home run of the year.

OSU plays at Bethune-Cookman tomorrow before heading to the South Florida Spring Fling this weekend.

It took extra innings, but the Buckeyes got it done today on the road at Maryland. The game was tied at 6 after 7 innings, so the 8th inning is where all the action happened. There, Taylor White came up with the bases load in the top of the 8th and laid in to one, blasting a grand slam that proved to be the game winner for the Buckeyes. OSU will look for the sweep tomorrow when they play at 1pm.

Love being able to watch the Buckeyes on the Big 10 Network.

Am always a little shocked to see so many of the players with tats.

OSU completed their Big Ten season opening series with a sweep over Maryland today on the road. And, it wasn't even close, the Buckeyes opened up a complete onslaught against the Terrapins today by a final score of 22-0!! 22 runs is the second most amount of runs ever scored in a single game by Ohio State, 2 short of the 24 they scored against Indiana in 2015. Shelby McCombs went 4 of the 5 innings for the Buckeyes and recorded the win allowing 3 hits and 3 walks while fanning 2 batters. Alex Bayne went 3-for-3 for the Buckeyes, scoring 4 runs and driving in one run on her solo home run. Lilli Piper also went 3-for-3 while scoring 3 runs and driving in 5 runs, 4 of those coming on her grand slam.

The Buckeyes will look to continue winning on Wednesday when they host Wright State in a double header.
