Three Michigan State football players plus a staff member have been suspended pending a Title IX investigation of an alleged sexual assault. No criminal charges have been filed, but universities are required to treat any sexual assault case against a student as an act of discrimination that is punishable by the school. Due process in the court system is not required, which is covered in the student's code of conduct. Young gifted athletes need to learn decency and coaches need better control of their programs.
