The Buckeyes opened up the season this afternoon in hosting a non-conference game against Furman, winning 12-6. Leading OSU with 4 goals was Johnny Pearson. Goalie Tom Carey recorded 11 saves.

The Buckeyes next game is Saturday when they host Detroit.

Ohio State earned their second consecutive victory to open up the season this afternoon, they hosted and dominated Detroit, 14-8. Leading the Buckeyes in scoring today was Lukas Buckley, with 3 goals and 1 assist. Goalie Tom Carey had 6 saves on the day.

The Buckeyes next host UMass next Saturday.

In their first game of the season that was really even close, the Buckeyes got an 8-7 win over UMass in Columbus. For OSU, Colin Chell and Johnny Pearson each led the Buckeyes with 2 goals a piece. Goalie Matthew Smidt recorded 11 saves.

Next up for the 19th ranked Buckeyes will be Jacksonville next Saturday.

The Buckeyes earned another dominant win on the season, defeating Jacksonville in the Woody Hayes Athletic Center, 16-8. OSU was led by Colin Chell (4 goals & 1 assist) and Eric Fannell (3 goals & 3 assists). Goalie Tom Carey recorded 8 saves for the Buckeyes.

OSU heads to Milwaukee next weekend to take on Marquette on Friday and Bellarmine on Sunday.

Spending the whole weekend in Milwaukee, playing in the Midwest Lacrosse Classic, the Buckeyes defeated Marquette, on their home turf, 12-6. Leading the Buckeyes on the day was Tre LeClaire with 3 goals and 1 assist and JT Blubaugh, Austin Shanks and Eric Fannell who scored 2 goals each. Goalie Matthew Smidt recorded 8 saves on the day.

The Buckeyes remain in Milwaukee and will play Bellarmine on Sunday.

In their final game in Milwaukee, the Buckeyes earned a solid win over Bellarmine by a final score of 14-11. Goalie Matthew Smidt recorded 7 saves in goal for the Buckeyes. Colin Chell recorded the hat trick, Eric Fannell recorded 2 goals and 3 assists and Tre LeClaire had 2 goals and 1 assist.

The Buckeyes return home to face off against Cleveland State on Saturday.

The Buckeyes continued winning today as they defeated Cleveland State 12-4 in Columbus. Tre Leclaire led the Buckeyes with 3 goals and Austin Seiple added 2. 7 more players added 1 goal apiece. Goalie Tom Carey earned his 7th win of the year.

Next up for OSU is Tuesday when they travel to Towson.

Big time win for the Buckeyes today, they hit the road this afternoon to take on #10 Towson, and they earned a hard fought 6-3 victory. Several Buckeyes scored 1 goal a piece and goalie Tom Carey earned yet another victory on the season.

Next up for the Buckeyes is a big time showdown, as they face off against #1 Denver on Saturday in Columbus.

Ohio State came up with a massive victory in the Shoe today, with a blowout, 16-7 win over the nation's number 1 ranked team in Denver. Tre LeClaire had a massive game with 5 goals and 2 assists. To go along with that Eric Fannell scored 3 goals and had 4 helpers on the day. Goalie Tom Carey recorded 11 saves.

Next up for the undefeated Buckeyes is a match up at Notre Dame on Saturday.

Being undefeated, winning two straight games against teams in the top 10, and blowing out the #1 ranked team in both the Inside Lacrosse and Coaches Poll, the Buckeyes should make a huge jump, potentially into the top 5.

Playing in their 3rd consecutive top 10 game, the Buckeyes dropped their first game of the season today at #2 Notre Dame, 12-7. Freshman Tre Leclaire had a big game for OSU, scoring 4 goals. Goalie Tom Carey recorded 9 saves, but gave up 12. The Buckeyes are now off until next Sunday when they'll have a game at Penn State.

After a dominant start to the season, the Buckeyes dropped their second consecutive game last night in their Big Ten opener, falling on the road to #2 Penn State, 9-4. The Buckeyes top scorer on the night was Tre LeClaire who score 2 goals. Tom Carey had a good game overall recording 12 saves, but giving up 9 goals, as the Ohio State offense just couldn't get it going.

Next up is another Big Ten matchup when OSU hosts Johns Hopkins next Sunday.

The Buckeyes got back in the win column on Sunday with a conference win over #11 Johns Hopkins in Columbus, 13-9. The top scorer for the Buckeyes was Jack Jasinski with 7 points (4 goals & 3 assists). Goalie Tom Carey got the win in the net with 7 saves. Next up is another conference match when the Buckeyes travel to Michigan on Saturday.

In a huge rivalry game, the Buckeyes earned a win over Michigan in Ann Arbor, 18-7. The top scorer on the game was Tre LeClaire, who scored 8 points (3 goals and 5 assists). Goalie Tom Carey also recorded 13 saves in getting the win. Next up is a home contest this Saturday against Maryland.

Sweet victory! The #8 Buckeyes hosted #2 Maryland today in Columbus, and this epic game went into OT, with just 2:57 remaining in the OT period, Johnny Pearson sank one in the back of the net to give the Buckeyes a thrilling 11-10 victory. That was one of Pearson's 2 goals on the game. Eric Fannell led the Buckeyes with 5 goals on the game. Goalie Tom Carey recorded 10 saves while giving up 10 goals.

The regular season finale for OSU will be next Saturday as they travel to Rutgers.

The Buckeyes dropped their final game of the regular season at #12 Rutgers 12-11 in overtime. Tre LeClaire was the leading scorer for OSU, scoring 4 goals and 2 assists for 6 total points. Goalie Tom Carey recorded 11 saves.

Ohio State will wait to see who they'll play in the Big Ten Tournament.
