It was terrific to see the Big Green team from Athens. Ohio post a win over a solid Akron club today. The Bobcats(14-7, 6-4 Conf) handed the Zips(19-4, 9-1 Conf) their first Mid American Conference defeat of the season.

This was a tight game throughout but toward the end of the 2nd half the Bobcats was able to pull away. Leading the winners with a game high 38 was, Jaaron Simmons(Dayton, Ohio) Helping out with 11 was Freshman,Jason Carter(Johnstown, Ohio). The Bobcats connected on 30-38 free throws.

For the Zips leading the way with 18 was,Isaiah Johnson(Cincinnati, Ohio)
