OSU Men's Soccer NCAA Tournament

After a first round bye in the NCAA tournament, the men's soccer team took on Dayton in the 2nd round on Sunday. It took 2OT and PKS to determine a winner of this game. After 2OT the game was tied at 1. The Buckeyes advanced to the 3rd round of the NCAA tournament after winning the match on penalty kicks (4-3).

Final:

Dayton - 1 (3 penalty kick goals)
Ohio State - 1 (4 penalty kick goals)

This was a rematch of a 9/25 meeting in which the Buckeyes won 2-0. The Buckeyes will be back at it next Sunday against the winner of Santa Clara vs Stanford.

The OSU Men's Soccer team's season ended tonight. They lost to top-seeded Stanford in Palo Alto, 3-1. It was a great season for the Buckeyes.
