Denison(14-1, 8-0 NCAC) (6-8, 3-4 NCAC) continued tonight with their sweet season by traveling to Hiram and coming away with another win(83-77) The Big Red hit on 48.4% from the floor, while hitting 71.4% from the free throw line. Leading the road warriors in the win was,Claude Chandonnet (New Canaan, Conn. / New Canaan) with 23 minutes in only 16 minutes of action.David Meurer(Newark Catholic) had 17 points and 6 assist. Fellow Newark Catholic grad Jett Speelman had 16 points.
Leading Hiram in defeat was,Paul Ortiz(Canton, Ohio / McKinley Senior ) with 24. He had a lot of help from,Joe Caspio,(Willowick, Ohio / Eastlake North) who hit for 17 points.
