This was one of those games between two teams that do not seem to fond of each other. There seem to be a lot of talking between the players at various points of the game. Illinois State 14-4 6-0 Conf led by nine at the half and really never looked back. MiKyle McIntosh(Pickering, ON) had 20 points to lead the winners.The Redbirds shot 54.2% from the field.

For the Shockers 15-4, 5-1 Conf this was their first conference loss of the season. Leading the way in defeat were the combo of,Darral Willis Jr.(Madison, Wis) and Landry Shamet(Kansas City, Mo.) with 14 a piece. The Shockers hit only 34.9% of their shots.
