This was one of those games between two not so good teams, that ended with the contest being very competitive. Youngstown State(8-11, 2-4 Conf) led by seven on four different occasions only to find themselves down five, with 1.50 left in the game. The Penguins scored the last five points to force overtime before losing.
The Flames improve to 10-8, 3-2 Conf, with the OT road win. Leading UIC with 21 points off of the bench was,Dominique Matthews(Chicago, Ill.)He went 9-17 from the field.
Youngstown State was led by,Cameron Morse 40 points on 15-35 shooting. He was 6-12 from three point land.Jorden Kaufman(Andover, KS) seven rebounds and eight points. The 7-1 Center only got seven shots and he hit four of those.
