This one was nip and tuck the entire contest. Both teams played well enough to post the win, but it was Western Kentucky(9-7, 3-0 Conf)who came up big at the end. Western shot 49.2 from the field and 81% from the charity strip. Leading the winners with 14 each was,Que Johnson(Pontiac, MI) and Pancake Thomas(Baton Rouge, LA). Pancake made two late free throws to ice this one.Charlotte(7-7, 1-2 Conf) was led by Andrien White with 20 points. This was the ninth game of the season he total at least to steals.
