Kelsey Mitchell (Ohio State) Surpasses 2,000 Points

Ohio State Buckeyes junior, Kelsey Mitchell surpassed the 2,000 career point mark tonight in their 108-73 victory of Southern. She becomes the 7th player in OSU women's history to get to that mark. Doing so in just her 79th career game, she becomes the fastest player in NCAA history to reach the 2,000 point mark! The school record for career points is Jantel Lavender with 2,818 points and former Logan great Katie Smith is second with 2,578, the only two to pass the 2,500 point mark at OSU. It looks like Mitchell may pass both of those marks, having the majority of this season and all of next season left.
