This is how I feel the committee will handle this upcoming week of upcoming Conference Championships.
IN...

OUTSIDE Looking IN...
5. Wisconsin
6. Penn State
7. Michigan
8. Oklahoma
9. Colorado
10. Oklahoma State
11. USC
12. FSU
13. WVU
14. Western Michigan
15. Louisville
16. Auburn
17. Stanford
18. Navy
19. Florida
20. Nebraska
21. Boise State
22. Virginia Tech
23. Iowa
24. Pittsburgh
25. USF
Looking at Conference Matchups.... The ACC and the SEC have BY FAR the Most LACKLUSTER Matchups of the Power 5.
*I don't see a 2 loss BIG XII Champion getting in this year. Not as Strong as this field is.
*If Clemson and Alabama don't do complete "BEATDOWNS" of their opponents, this could hurt them as well. Since the strength of their opponents are BY FAR Weaker than the PAC12 and B1G.

Re: Valenth's "What to expect on the College Football Playoff Rankings"
It would be strange to see a two loss team bumping any one loss team. You know Clemson hasn't been winning over good team like they did last year and with the Bucks ahead of them , Clemson could very well be bumped has well. If the Bucks get in they better work on the passing game a lot.

Correct. Look at Clemson's Resume.... Beating Virginia Tech (Who is UNRANKED Right Now) in the Conference Championship Is not going to help their overall resume. PLUS Look at the quality wins that's looking a lot uglier today. Louisville has taken the dive. And Auburn Lost. The only Quality win Clemson has now is FSU... But look what happened to FSU at Louisville. But yet, Kentucky went to the same venue and won? The SEC EAST is ATROCIOUS. This makes me wonder how overall Horrible is the ACC...noreply66 wrote:It would be strange to see a two loss team bumping any one loss team. I would probably have Nebraska dropping more than just to #20, but the rest looks like it will be pretty accurate.

I think Michigan is worthy of #5 but probably won't be there.Valenth wrote:This is how I feel the committee will handle this upcoming week of upcoming Conference Championships.

AS OF TODAY I SEE IT:
1. Alabama
2. Ohio State
3. Clemson
4. Washington
5. Michigan (committee won't put them here)
6. Penn State
7. Wisky
8. Oklahoma
* I think Washington is in with a win over Colorado.
* Should Washington fall I think the winner of Wisky/Penn State is in.
* Don't see any way Michigan or Oklahoma makes it.

If it comes out that way Woody Hayes will be walking the sidelines.
