Yeah, there are very, very few places that the coach at Navy would be considered at. He does really well at Navy, and seems like he's happy being there.

I understand that but I'm still not sure why teams wouldn't take a look.Chieftain2009 wrote:Yeah, there are very, very few places that the coach at Navy would be considered at. He does really well at Navy, and seems like he's happy being there.
He has done a great job and competes with the big boys with lesser talent.
Georgia tech still run it, they just beat Georgia.

Heck they beat Houston Memphis and Notre dame this year.
Look at a place like Lsu, could there offense really be any worse running the wishbone? They can never recruit a decent pro style qb. They recruit great athletes. I think it wld be interesting to see what he could do with those type athletes in that offense.

Navy has a coach that has been there and enjoys the Navy life. His dad was retired Coast Guard. He doesn't have the stress as at other schools. He has 3 kids so less stress on them if a losing season. Big schools also come with more headaches. He has something special going on. With the ability to keep it going and do his part in serving our country.

Because no one is interested in the flexbone. It is a thing of the past even though I love the offensefbnut wrote:Wonder why there coach never gets mentioned for openings?Valenth wrote:Navy racked up 75 points on 57 plays. Quite Impressive
