Not Only by beating Ball State last night... they became Bowl Eligible!

And they also made history!

They are the first school to EVER lose their first 6 games, then turn the season around and win the next 6 to make eligibility! Very Impressive!

Good for the Redskins. Miami of Ohio, the cradle of coaches, the mid major football (and basketball) program that the big schools were leary of playing back in the 60's and 70's. Great academic school, story book campus, great athletic traditions!

It will always be Redskins in the Dutch house. My Dad was a 1950 grad and never accepted the name change, my Son will graduate from there in May and still doesn't like the name Redhawks. Congrats to Coach Martin and the Skins !!!
