Stanford! That's who took home the national title trophy in women's volleyball last night. #6 Cardinal defeated #4 Texas 3-1 to take home the championship. This is their first title since 2004 and their 7th overall title in women's volleyball. This is also the first time since 2012 that a team from the Big Ten did not win the title.

It will be a few weeks, but Youngstown State will face #4 James Madison for the FCS National Championship on January 7 at Noon on ESPN2.

The FCS football title was decided this weekend, and it went in favor of James Madison. JMU defeated Youngstown State 28-14. But the actual game wasn't as close as the score indicated. This was the second national title for James Madison in their school history in football.

Both teams had more than 5 players suspended for various reasons for this game as well as 1 or more games before. Most were starters and top players on the team.
JMU took control of the game early. YSU was never really into the game.

What a game for the FBS football title! Clemson defeats Bama. At the beginning it looked like the Tide had this game under control but Clemson stormed back and scored with about 2 seconds left in the game to win 35-31. This is just the second national championship in football for Clemson all time, their other came in 1981.
