What a thrilling game the MAC Quarterfinal final was between 2nd seeded Ohio (20-10) and 7th seeded Toledo (17-16), as the Bobcats punched their ticket to the MAC Semifinal game with a 67-66 victory. The Bobcats trailed by as many as 15 points in the first half, cut the lead to just a few at half, then used a 13-0 run early in the 2nd to take a commanding lead. Then, the Rockets made a game out of it again. The last few minutes were back and forth between the Bobcats and Rockets. Kenny Kaminski nailed a jump shot to take a one point lead with just 7 seconds left. Toledo had two good looks to win the game but didn't convert either of them as OU took home the win.

The Bobcats were led by a 24 point performance by Jaaron Simmons and a 19 point-12 rebound double-double by Jason Carter. The Rockets were led by Jonathan Williams who poured in 18 points.

Tonight at 8, Ohio will take on 6th seeded Kent State in the Semifinal at the Q. In the two games that Ohio and Kent State have played this year, they split the series. The Bobcats won in Athens back on January 6, 85-67. And the Golden Flashes won in Kent on February 25, 70-67.

He's shocked everyone this year. I'll have to look it up, but I'd say he has at least 10 double-doubles.

This marks the end of OU's chances of making the NCAA Tournament, they will now wait and hope for an invite to the NIT. Kent State was led by a 22 point-10 rebound double-double by Jimmy Hall. For the Bobcats, Jaaron Simmons led the way with 25 points and 7 rebounds, but with just 1 assist.
