The OSU women's ice hockey team opened up their season last weekend with a sweep at RPI in New York.

This weekend, they play a Friday-Saturday double at #1 ranked Wisconsin.

The Buckeyes dropped their first game at #1 Wisconsin, 3-0. They play again tomorrow afternoon.

In the second game of their series at #1 Wisconsin, the Buckeyes tied 1-1 at the end of overtime. They eventually lost in the shootout, but are awarded a tie because the loss came in shootout. They play at Bemidji State next Friday and Saturday.

Strong women with sticks freighten me. Something to do with dating a red headed OSU field hockey player back in 1970.

Seriously, both Buckeye hockey squads are solid for 2016-2017.

OSU won at #8 Bemidji State tonight, 3-1. They play the second game of their back to back tomorrow at Bemidji State.

The Buckeyes lost their second game in the series at #8 Bemidji State tonight, 4-1, this means they split their series. They will next host Minnesota for a two game series this Friday and Saturday.

Ohio State dropped their first game against #2 Minnesota tonight 3-2. They will play again tomorrow.

The Buckeyes dropped a second consecutive game to #2 Minnesota today, 2-1. They are back at home again next Friday and Saturday to face Minnesota-Duluth.

OSU dropped their 4th conscutive game tonight, this time against #3 Minnesota-Duluth, 6-0. They try to get back on track tomorrow when they play them for the second consecutive game.

The Lady Buckeyes dropped their 5th consecutive match, this time again it was against #3 Minnesota-Duluth, by the score of 3-2. Their next 2 game set is this Friday and Saturday when they host Lindenwood

In the first game of their series hosting Lindenwood, OSU blanked their opponent 4-0. They play the second game tomorrow.

For a second consecutive game, the Buckeyes shutout Lindenwood, this time 3-0.

They have a tough matchup at St. Cloud State next Friday and Saturday.

The Lady Buckeyes opened up their 2 game road set at St. Cloud State with a 3-0 win. They will play again tomorrow.

OSU ended their two game road trip at St. Cloud State with a surprising 4-1 loss.

They will next play, next weekend at Minnesota State for a 2 game set.

The Lady Buckeyes hockey team got back in the win column tonight, this time with a win at Minnesota State, 2-1.

They play their second game tomorrow.

OSU couldn't come home with a sweep this weekend, losing their second game at Minnesota State, 2-1.

Their next two game set is against North Dakota on December 2 and 3.

In a grudge match against #9 North Dakota, the Buckeyes came out with a tie at 1-1 in the first game of their series. They will play the second game of the 2-game set tomorrow afternoon.

Seems like a lot of small colleges have good teams.

Most of the good teams come from North Dakota, South Dakota, Wisconsin, Minnesota and Michigan.
