Deshaun Watson QB Clemson

As a sophomore he had Clemson in the run for the title. First player in college football history to top 4,000 yards passing and 1000 yards rushing. Some are saying it could be 5000/1000 this fall.

Leonard Fournette RB LSU

He is one of the most physically running backs in the past decade. Led the nation with 162.8 yards per game. It looked like if you stop him you could beat LSU from their three losses against Alabama, Arkansas and Ole Miss. If he wants a trip to New York in December he will have to perform in the big games.

Christian McCaffrey,the guy is a freak of nature! The big question is can Stanford find a QB to keep defenses off him?

I kinda like the QB for Oklahoma "Baker Mayfield". He has a shot IMO.

Dalvin Cook Florida State

Dalvin battled through injuries last season and still rushed for 1, 691 yards. had two big games 266 yd against South Florida and 222 Yds against Miami.

Christian McCaffrey.....Stanford

Could have won the Heisman if voters were allowed to vote after the bowls games. Had 368 all-purpose yards (including 100 plus rushing and 100 plus receiving) in the Cardinal Rose bowl win.

Without question, McCaffery at Stanford is the best all around player in college football. The Heisman though will go to Deshaun Watson. Publicity and media exposure gives the Clemson player the edge.

Baker Mayfield QB Oklahoma

Mayfield guided Oklahoma to the No. 4 spot in the College football playoffs. Averaged 284 plus yards per game. Had 36 touchdowns and only seven Interceptions.

With the position all his expect Barrett to return form as one the most dynamic QBs in the nation.

Chad Kelly QB Ole Miss

Averaged 310 plus yards per game and had 31 touchdowns. Kelly went through a mid-season slump but came back and only threw one interception in the final four games.

A gifted QB who threw for over 300 yds in six games even had three games where he averages 10 yards a completion.

The sophomore was fourth rank nationally in rushing. Might make a run at 2,000 this fall.

Seth Russell QB Baylor

Went down with a season ending neck injury last season and at that time he was averaging over 300 yards passing per game . It must be noted that Baylor had only played one team at that time to be ranked in the top 100 in total defense and that was #61 West Virginia.
