I remember that year they were blowing everyone out. I thought their QB was so good that year, but really I think it was the system.

2007 Season:

vs Northern Colorado - 63-6
@ Louisiana Tech - 45-44 OT
@ UNLV - 49-14
vs Charleston S. - 66-10
@ Idaho - 48-20
vs Utah State - 52-37
@ San Jose State - 42-35 OT
vs New Mexico State - 50-13
vs Fresno State - 37-30
@ Nevada - 28-26
vs Boise State - 39-27
vs Washington - 35-28
vs Georgia - 10-41

They had a great year beating some decent teams but they had no business playing Georgia.

He didn't have a very good stint at Hawaii from 2012-2015 going 10-36 starting this year at 2-7. But here's his coaching resume:

1970-1972 Waialua HS
1973-74 BYU (Grad Assistant)
1975 BYU (Freshman Coach)
1976-1977 BYU (WR Coach)
1978 BYU (RB Coach)
1979-1981 BYU (WR Coach)
1982-1985 BYU (WR Coach/RC)
1986-1995 BYU (QB/WR Coach)
1996-1999 BYU (Asst. HC/Off. Coordinator/QB/WR)
2000 NC State (Off. Coordinator)
2001-2004 USC (Off. Coordinator)
2005-2007 Tennessee Titans (Off. Coordinator)
2008-2010 UCLA (Off. Coordinator)
2011 Utah (Off. Coordinator)
2012-2015 Hawaii (Head Coach)

He won the Broyles Award for the best assistant coach in the country in 2002. Played guard at Utah. I'd really like to see him get a job somewhere else, probably will but not as a head coach. As an OC somewhere I'm guessing. Really like to see Hawaii get back on it in football though, always kinda liked them.
