An otherwise dominating 14-0 first quarter performance by Ohio State marred by Joey Bosa being ejected from the game for targeting. Good call by the refs and poor judgment on Bosa's part as the play was pretty much over. Will the Bucks be able to stand without their defensive leader? Bosa has been on the brink of targeting in several games this year.

I don't think it is intentional though. I think lowering your head should automatically be targeting. The play happens fast, I don't think it should be targeting unless it's helmet to helmet. But, OSU still wins by a couple scores.

Bird...You have guys dropping like flys in the NFL...Huge,strong,fast,heat-seeking missiles using their headgear for years knocking each others brains loose. Their is a National light on this situation. Guys dying and committing suicide because of brain injuries due to head trauma. The great game we love is under attack from all sides and it needs to be cleaned up. I dont particularly like it. But....it has to be done

I hope not Bird. But believe me...I agree with how you feel. You know...I dont worry at all about the younger level collisions at all. Except to the less physical kids. Turns them off which sometimes is a good thing. But I see what happens to levels from HS to the NFL,even with good techniques,and the bigger,stronger,faster athletes are creating havoc on the safety of the sport. I hate legislating anything. But in this case and sport I have to agree.

Another dumb boneheaded play by Bosa,he knows better and he made plenty of them at the TOSU,but his talent makes up for it.
