Washington(7-60 flashed a lot of offense in this one and just enough defense to post the win today.
Freshman, Jake Browning(Granite Bay, CA) was 23-34 good for 284 yards.
The big story in this on for Washington was by Freshman running back, Myles Gaskin(Lynnwood, WA),who had 4 touchdowns along with 181 rushing yards.
Senior receivers,Jaydon Mickens(Los Angeles, CA) grabbed 8 balls good for 95 yards. He also added one run for 29 yards and a TD.
Southern Mississippi(9-5)Ito Smith(Semmes, AL) had 2 rushing scores but he was held to just 40 yards, in 16 carries.
