Playing on the road against a very solid Iowa team, the Buckeyes lost by a final score of 2-1 in a thriller in double overtime. The Hawkeyes hit the board first, scoring in the 65th minute of play. OSU scored the equalizer in the 78th minute of play off the foot of Marike Mousset (her first of the season). Iowa scored the game-winning goal in double overtime in the 110th minute of play.

The Buckeyes not only ended their regular season, but ended their season as a whole, as they failed to make the Big Ten Tournament. It ended on Wednesday when they fell to #7 Wisconsin on the road, by a final score of 2-1. Wisconsin hit the board first at the 9:30 mark. Then, the Buckeyes scored the equalizer, when Kayla Fischer scored her 4th goal of the season just 21 seconds later. The only other goal of the game came in the 17th minute when the Badgers took the lead for good.
