In the first round (which is the semifinals) in the Big Ten tournament, the Buckeyes will face off against Johns Hopkins, whom they beat 13-9 earlier in the season. The game will be on Thursday in Columbus at the Jesse O. at 7:30pm.

The Buckeyes escaped Jesse Owens Memorial on Thursday with a win under their belt in the Big Ten semifinal match, as they defeated #9 Johns Hopkins, 15-13. Tre LeClaire had a massive game for the Scarlet and White as he scored 6 goals. Tom Carey only recorded 5 saves on the game, but it was just enough.

Waiting for the Buckeyes will be #1 Maryland, as they will meet in a top 5 clash for the Big Ten title on Saturday at 7:30pm in Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium.

In an epic Big Ten Championship game, the #5 Buckeyes fell to the #1 Terrapins of Maryland 10-9 as Maryland got revenge to their loss at the end of the regular season. Tre LeClaire had a big game for OSU drilling 3 goals and adding a helper scoring 4 points. Goalie Tom Carey recorded 11 saves. The Buckeyes will now wait to see what will happen in the NCAA tournament and whether they will make it.

Ohio State has earned the #3 seed for the NCAA Tournament and is one of 4 Big Ten teams to make the field. The Buckeyes are 6-3 against teams that made the field. Wins against Maryland, Denver, Marquette, Johns Hopkins (x2) and Towson. Their losses against teams in the field have come from Maryland, Notre Dame and Penn State.

The Buckeyes first round game will be against Loyola (MD) on May 14 at 5pm in Columbus.

On to the Quarterfinals! The Buckeyes defeated #13 Loyola (MD) 7-4 in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. Leading OSU was Tre LeClaire with 3 goals, and goalie Tom Carey recorded 12 saves.

Next up for OSU will be a matchup with #6 Duke in the Quarterfinal on Saturday.

Quarterfinal victory for the Buckeyes against #6 Duke, as they breezed past the Blue Devils 16-11 in Hempstead, NY. So, they move onto the Final 4 (Semifinals) and will face off against Towson or Syracuse next Saturday in Boston.

The Buckeyes will face off against #11 Towson in the semifinals after their 10-7 victory over #2 Syracuse earlier today. This will be the second time Ohio State and Towson will play this season, with the first game being at Towson where the Buckeyes escaped with a 6-3 victory earlier in the season.

For the first time in program history, Ohio State will play for a national title in men's lacrosse. After trailing Towson 8-3 early on the third quarter, the Buckeyes began pouring in the goals, defeating #11 Towson 11-10. Tre LeClaire, the best player for OSU scored 4 points (3 goals & 1 assist) and Eric Fannell had 3 points (2 goals & 1 assist). Tom Carey gave up 10 goals and had 10 saves.

Ohio State will either play #5 Denver or #1 Maryland in the championship game on Monday. The Buckeyes have played both of those teams, defeating Denver early in the season by thrashing them, 16-7. They have played Maryland twice, going 1-1, defeating them 11-10 in the regular season and losing to the Terrapins 10-9 in the Big Ten Championship.

The Buckeyes will face-off with Maryland in the national championship game on Monday. This will be the 3rd time the Buckeyes and Terrapins have played this year and will be a Big Ten Championship Game rematch.

The most successful season in Ohio State history came to an end today as they fell to Maryland in the national championship 9-6. This was the first time Ohio State has ever made it to the national title.
