Unfortunately, I haven't gotten a chance to watch all these teams yet this year, so I can't make an educated guess.

I think the ACC takes the Challenge unless the B1G pulls a couple upsets, but that is definitely possible.

In tonight's first final, Pittsburgh (6-1) went on the road and defeated Maryland (7-1), 73-59. At one point in this game, Pitt led by over 20 points in the 2nd half. Then, Maryland went on a run and got it down to single digits, but could get it any closer towards the end of the game. For Pittsburgh, Michael Young (25pts, 9rebs) led the way. And the leader for Maryland was Melo Trimble (13pts, 6rebs, 5assists). After this game, the ACC takes a 2-1 lead.

At the mid-way point of the night, we have another final coming in from Madison. #17 Wisconsin (6-2) takes down #22 Syracuse (4-2), 77-60. This game got close at a few points, but the Badgers pretty much had this one in hand the whole time. For the Badgers, Ethan Happ (24pts, 13rebs, 4assists) had a huge night. For the Orange, Andrew White III (14pts, 5rebs) led the way in the losing effort. The B1G now goes up 3-2, with three more games going on tonight.

The next to last game of the night featured two middle of the pack teams. Notre Dame (7-0) topped Iowa (3-4), 92-78. Iowa is in a bit of a scuffle right now not playing real strong basketball. Bonzie Colson (24pts, 17rebs) had a massive game for Notre Dame. Leading Iowa was Jordan Bohannon (23pts, 7assists) for the losing team. The Challenge is now at 4-3, with one last game tonight in which Duke is leading Michigan State.

In the first final of the night, #14 Louisville (6-1) held on to beat #15 Purdue (5-2), 71-64. Every time Louisville tried to put this game away, Purdue charged back, then Louisville charge back to take a big lead again, although Louisville led nearly the entire way. Ray Spalding (11pts, 9reb) led the Cardinals. In the losing effort, Purdue's big man threat, Caleb Swanigan (14pts, 11reb) led their effort. ACC up 5-4.

The second final brought out another ACC win, Virginia Tech (6-1) led a late charge to take down Michigan (5-2), 73-70. Michigan led for the whole game, and at one point had a massive lead. But, the late game charge for the Hokies was too much for the Wolverines to hold on to. Zach LeDay led Virginia Tech with 18pts and 6 rebounds. For Michigan, Zac Irvin led the way with 23 points and 5 rebounds. ACC up 6-4.

The third game of the night saw the ACC go 3-3 so far tonight. Miami (5-2) was too much for Rutgers (6-1), winning 73-61. Although Rutgers held on and never let it get out of hand, they weren't able to pull out a win. Devon Reed led Miami with 18 points and 6 rebounds. Mike Williams led the Scarlet Knights with 16pts and 4 steals. ACC now up 7-4, three games in play right now.
