no goal.

Should the Blues survive this..they might have an edge.
Blues survive a power play by Boston....Binnington is all over the place! He pulled a save right from his a**

Blues score on their 3rd shot of the game. O'Reilly with a tip past Rask.

1-0 St. Louis...2 mins left in 1st period

This could be a killer....

Pietrangelo scores with 6 seconds left in the period. Now 2-0 Blues after 1

They weathered the storm from Boston...D was blocking shots and Binnington was awesome.

Boston needs to do something...and quickly imho.

O'Reilly now has 5 goals in the series

Fast moving 2nd period...score remains 2-0 St. Louis.

Shots: 22-10 Boston after 40 mins

Blues have their forechecking going...rolling all 4 lines. Twenty minutes left in the season...time to lay it all out!

Boston just looks befuddled.

BTW... Antti Niemi was technically the last rookie goalie to win a Stanley Cup.

Time to shorten the bench Boston.

Wow...Schenn rips one off the post and past Rask!!

3-0 Blues with 8 mins to play

Fat lady warming the vocal cords and Lord Stanley's cup is getting polished one more time.

Binnington for Conn-Smythe (MVP) is my vote.

Sanford makes it 4-0 St. Louis annnnnnd this one is over!

St. Louis ends the longest streak for a franchise to win their first cup....52 years. They also break an NHL record by winning their 10th game on the road, taking 3 of 4 in Boston in the final.

Congrats to the St. Louis Blues... Stanley Cup Champions!!!

I'm really glad that I didn't bet any money on the game tonight. I most certainly would have lost. The Goalie for the Blues was outstanding the whole game. I don't think the Blues could have won without his outstanding effort.

Holy crap...

Ryan O'Reilly wins the Conn-Smythe...really thought Binnington would've gotten it.

Agree 100%. Without Binnington tonight, the Blues do not win the Stanley Cup. I know the MVP is for the whole series, but without his effort, the Blues don't win. The Bruins could have, and mayby should have had 3 or 4 goals tonight very easily.

Well as the Rolling Stones would say, you can't always get what you want. Still, a good run. Folks forget the Bruins struggled earlier in the season and didn't secure home ice against the Leafs until last week of the season. You'll hear from us again!
