The Royals shut the Tribe out, with Homer Bailey (1-1 5.29 ERA) leading the way. The Indians double A like offense made the journey man pitcher look like Tom Seaver. Ryan O'Hearn (2) blasted a solo home run to power the Royals. Whit Merrifield had two hits and drove in one. Adalberto Mondesi added a hit and a RBI. Jefry Rodriguez (L, 0-1) took the loss for Cleveland.
