Game 119
Columbus Clippers (Cleveland) 6 Toledo Mudhens (Detroit)5 10 Innings
Another game with a different kind of ending. The Clippers (52-32) put up two runs in the tenth, without a hit and then held on to get the win after giving up a run of their own, in the bottom of the inning.
To start the tenth Mark Mathias (2-4 1 RBI) was placed on 2nd, as it goes in extra innings in the minors. Greg Allen (1-4) walked. After back to back strike outs, Brandon Barns (1-4 1RBI) His only hit was his 18th dinger this season. Ryan Flaherty (2-3 1 RBI)walk to drive in a run and then a wild pitch allow the 2nd run of the inning to score. Trayce Thompson (1-5 HR 21) also went yard for the winners early in the game.
For Toledo, (37-47) Dustin Peterson went 2-4 and drove in three. Mikie Mahtook went 1-4, with one driven in. Willi Castro had a 3-5 night and scored twice.

Game 120
Lake County (Cleveland) 5 Fort Wayne (San Diego)
Lake County (50-34) plated three in the top of the eighth and then held on by shutting out the Tin Caps (37-46) in the last two innings to secure the win.
Makesiondon Kelkboom (1-1 1 RBI led off the eighth with a solo shot, his first long ball of the season. Cody Farhat (1-3 2RBI) tripled to score Josh Rolette (1-2 1RB). Rolette's base hit had scored Hosea Nelson (2-4 2 Runs scored). Daniel Schneemann (1-3 1RBI) had the other RBI.

For Fort Wayne, Juan Fernandez (2-4 3RBI) and Lee Solomon (1-4 1RBI) provided most of the offense. Xavier Edward would go 2-4 and raise his average to .339.

Kannapolis Intimidators (White Sox) 9 Augusta Green Jackets (Giants) 5
The Green Jackets (45-40) gave up six runs in the final three innings, after leading by two after six.
The Intimidators (39-46) got two RBI each from, Andrew Vaughn (1-3), Michael Hickman (1-5) and Ramon Beltre (2-4). Also getting a RBI for the winners was, Ian Dawkins (3-4), Alex Destino (1-4) and Bryce Bush (0-4).
For Augusta, Frankie Tostado led the way (2-4 2 RBI). The young first baseman now has 53 RBI on the season. Also getting one RBI apiece were the following players. Jacob Gonzalez (2-4), Zander Clarke (1-2) and Andres Angulo (2-4)

Game 122
Lake County Captains (Cleveland) 2 Fort Wayne Lugnuts (Toronto) 0
Lake County (51-36) totaled just two runs and eight hits, but that was more than enough to post the win. Alex Royalty (5-4 3.53 ERA) threw six shutout innings and allowed just four hits. He walked just one and k'd four. Skylar Arias picked up his third save of the season. He went two shutout innings, struck out three, while walking zero. Jesse Berardi went 2-4 and had an RBI. Bo Naylor had a hit in four trips to the plate and he knocked in one. Jose Fermin went 2-4 and raised his average up to .263.
For the Lugnuts (41-46), they had four hits with Rafael Lantigua having the only extra base hit, a double. Taking the loss was, Eric Pardinho (0-1 3.00 ERA).

Game 123
Rome Braves (Atlanta) 4 Charleston River Dogs (Yankees) 3
The Braves (41-48) totaled just five hits in the win. Jose Bermudez had the only extra base hit, a triple to lead the way. He would go 2-3 and drive in three. Justin Dean had a RBI, but had zero hits from his lead off spot. Gabriel Noguera (3-4 3.39 ERA) threw six innings. He was not very good, giving up three earned runs on five hits. He walked three and had five strikeouts. Jake Higginbotham earned his third save and now supports a 3.31 ERA.
For Charleston (46-44), they too totaled just five hits. Eric Wagaman 3-4 led the way but he had zero RBI to show for it. He did score a run. Canaan Smith and Welfrin Mateo each had a RBI, though both went hitless. Jhony Brito (3-2 2.70) took the loss. He went six innings, allowing five hits and four earned runs, with a walk and a strike out.

Game 124
Columbus Clippers (Columbus) 9 Indianapolis Indians (Pittsburgh) 1
The Clippers (56-34) get a little payback after losing the night before. The Clippers banged out 15 hits, compared to 7 for the Indians. 6 of The clippers hits were for extra bases, compared to just two for the Indians. Ka'ai Tom (Kentucky) had 3 hits and 3 RBI, to lead the winners.Mark Mathias had 3 hits and 2 RBI. Eric Hasse had 2 hits and he drove in two. Ryan Flaherty and Brandon Barns each had 1 RBI. Indy (45-45) got their only RBI from Cole Tucker. Ke'Bryan Hayes and Pablo Reyes paced the offense with 2 hits each.

Game 125 (American Association) Independent League
Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks 5 Lincoln Saltdogs 3
I don't take the time to watch much independent league games, but it seems that when I do the game are always pretty good.
The Redhawks (36-18) used a 3 hits 2 RBI game by, Brian Olson (Seattle University) with a 2 hit 2 RBI game from Leobaldo Pina thrown in to post the win over the Saltdogs (25-29). T.J. Bennett (Utah) and Correlle Prime both had 2 hits for the winners.
The Saltdogs were led by Daniel Herrera (New Mexico). He totaled 2 RBI and 1 hit. Teammate Josh Mazzola (Missouri State) had a hit and drove in the teams other run.

Game 126
Rochester Red Wings (Minnesota) 5 Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs 4
Drew Maggie (1-4) scored on a hustle play in the bottom of the ninth, where he raced home, after a throw from the outfield was tossed in instead of thrown in to give the Red Wings (45-48) a much needed one run win.
The Pigs (45-46), used a three run bomb from Austin Listi (8) to jump out in front, in the top of the third. Listi would go 203 on the day with 3 knocked in. Jan Hernandez (1-4) 1 RBI was the only other player to knock in a run, for the Pigs. Andrew Romine led the team, with three hits.
Catcher Tomás Telis (6)would have 2 hits, including a three run bomb.He knocked in three, all on his game tying bomb. Jaylin Davis (2-3) 1 RBI aided in the win. He now has a .326 batting average.

W Cody Stashak 5-0 1.33 ERA
L Tom Windle 7-2 4.50 ERA

Game 127
Corpus Christi Hooks (Houston) 4 Northwest Arkansas Naturals (Texas) 00
The Hooks(45-50) scored three runs one error by Emmanuel Rivera to take a 3-0 lead.
From there the game stayed scoreless until the bottom of the seventh,where the Hooks scores on a fielders choice by Osvaldo Duarte, making this a 4-0 game. The Naturals (42-51) had four errors in this game and neither team had a RBI.

Columbus Clippers (Cleveland) 6 Buffalo Bisons (Toronto) 3
The Clippers (59-40) was shutout in eight of the nine innings played, but a six run fourth was enough to post the win.
The highlight of the inning was a grand Slam by Trayce Thompson (24). Thompson has 55 RBI this season. Bobby Bradley (1-4) had a RBI as did Ka'ai Tom (2-4). Since being called up from Akron, Tom has 10 RBI and now supports a .396 average.

For Buffalo (52-48) they too were shutout in eight of the nine innings. They scored three in the sixth.
Richard Ureña (4) two run bomb was the big hit in the inning. The other RBI was by lead off hitter, Bo Bichette (1-5). Ureña went 3-4 to lead the offense.

San Jose Giants (San Francisco) 4 Lancaster Jet Hawks (Colorado) 3
The Giants (45-55) had a total of eight hits in the win, with Sandro Fabian (4) hitting a solo blast and a two hit, 2 RBI performance from, David Villar leading the way. Courtney Hawkins also had a hit and a RBI. For the Jet Hawks (50-49) Taylor Snyder (10) blasted a solo shot and Ryan Vilade knocked in two.

L Lucas Gilbreath (Minnesota) 3-8 6.17 ERA

Game 130
Lynchburg Hillcats (Cleveland) 7 Fayetteville Woodpeckers (Houston) 4
The Hillcats (47-53) used 12 hits and six walks to score 7 runs and hold off the Woodpeckers (48-56). The Woodpeckers had just 6 hits but picked up 11 walks to keep this one as close as it was. Tyler Freeman went 4-6 and raised his Hillcats average to .357. Wilbis Santiago (.307) and Gavin Collins (.275) each had 2 hits and drove in 2. Jonathan Laureano had a hit and drove in a run. Will Benson drove in a run too, for the winners.
Michael Papierski went hitless but had 2 RBI, for the Woodpeckers. Ross Adolph (Toledo) had a RBI and Jake Adams (Iowa) had 2 hits and drove in a run.

L Luis Garcia 3-3 3.79 ERA

Game 131
Gwinnett Stripers (Braves) 12 Columbus Clippers (Cleveland) 2
The Stripers (62-42) toyed with the Clippers in this one. 17 hits and 12 runs will win you a lot of games and it did just that in this one.
Andrés Blanco 3-4 2RBI led the winners. He had all kinds of help in this one, with Riley Unroe 3-5 2 RBI and Sean Kazmar Jr. 2-5 2 RBI leading the way. Ryan LaMarre (Michigan) 2-6 1 RBI, Adam Duvall had a triple and drove in a run, Connor Lien had a hit and drove in a run, Travis Demeritte had two hits and he too drove in a single run and Pedro Florimón had a hit and 1 RBI.
The Clippers (59-44) got RBI from Ryan Flaherty and Yu Chang.

W Patrick Weigel 4-1 3.21 ERA
L Mitch Talbot 2-3 6.25 ERA

Toledo Mud Hens (Tigers) 4 Syracuse Mets (Mets) 0
The Mud Hens (47-59) used a strong outing by, Tim Adleman 4-4 3.46 ERA to defeat the Mets (53-53). Adleman, went seven shutout innings, gave up just two hits, struck out eleven, while allowing two base on balls. Pete Kozma (4) went yard and drove in two. Jake Rogers had one hit and drove in one. Drew Gagnon 4-4 2.60 ERA took the loss. He struck out 13 batters, while going 6 1/3 innings.

Buffalo scored three in the eighth and then held on for the one run win.
Richard Ureña led the way (2-5 2RBI) with Patrick Kivlehan (Rutgers) knocking in two. Buffalo (56-51) also got one RBI from leadoff hitter Jonathan Davis, who also scored twice.

Rochester (52-55) had a two run bomb (15) from Jaylin Davis. Nick Gordon (2 hits 1RBI), Jake Cave (2 Hits 1 RBI) and Tomás Telis ( 1hit 1 RBI) all contributed in the loss.

Indianapolis Indians (Pirates) 3 Columbus Clippers (Cleveland) 2
The Indians (54-53) got a walk off solo homer from, Will Craig (20) to defeat the Clippers (61-46)last night by the count of 3-2. Also going yard for Indy was, Kevin Kramer (8). Both of those players total one hit and one RBI. For Columbus Eric Haase (25) hit a two run bomb, to provide most of their offense.
W Dovydas Neverauskas 3-1 3.82 ERA
L Cam Hill 3-1 2.31 ERA

Game 135
Louisville Bats (Reds) 11 Columbus Clippers (Indians) 8 11 Innings
The Bats (45-64) tallied four in the eleventh to shock the Clippers (61-47) The Bats had 19 hits in this one, as they showed that they might be a little better than their horrible record would indicate. Rob Refsnyder (8), Alex Blandino (5) and Chadwick Tromp (6) All went yard for the winners. Those three hitters combined to go 7-15 and knocked in seven runs. Narciso Crook 3-6 1RBI, Christian Colón 1-1 1 RBI and Brian O'Grady 1-6 all contributed to the winning cause, for the Bats.

Columbus pounded out ten hits, including homers from, Daniel Johnson (6) and Mark Mathias (8). Those two combined to go 5-10, with 3RBI. Ka'ai Tom (1-5 2 RBI), Brandon Barnes (1-6 1RBI) and Trayce Thompson (1-2 1 RBI) all contributed to the Clippers offensive output.

Louisville Bats (Reds) 8 Columbus Clippers (Indians) 5
The Bats (46-64) took down the Clippers (61-48) again last night and in doing so dropped Columbus to four games under .500 at Huntington Park.
For the Bats Ryan Lavarnway went 3-3 4RBI including his fifth bomb of the season. Also going yard was the power hitting Brian O'Grady (28), who went 2-4 1 RBI. Alex Blandino 1-3 2 RBI. He now supports a .265 batting average to go with his 16 RBI. Nick Longhi 2-5 1 RBI.
For Columbus, Yu Chang (7) and Eric Haase (26) both went yard.. Change ended his night by going 1-5 2 RBI, while Haase went 1-3 2 RBI. Ka'ai Tom 1-5 1 RBI. Playing in his last games for Columbus was, Brandon Barnes 0-4 (Traded to Twins). Trace Thompson (Given his release) did not play last night. Both were power hitters for the team this season.

Columbus (62-48) came from behind to post a huge win over 2nd place Indy (56-54)
The Indians used hits from Jason Martin (2-3 1 RBI) and Cole Tucker (2-4 1 RBI) to jump out front 2-0, after two innings.
The Clippers scored the next five before giving up the games only other run in the ninth, on a John Edwards base on balls.
Eric Haase had two triples and knocked in one for Columbus. Ryan Flaherty had a hit and drove in two and Yu Chang had a hit and also drove in a run.

Game 138
Dayton Dragons (Reds) 4 Lake County (Indians) 3
Forgot to post this one, so I am real late. The Dragons (47-64) took down Lake County (62-48) by one run. Each time I watch Dayton, I always leave saying "how is their record so bad" In this game, they pounded out eights hits, including a solo blast from catcher, Jay Schuyler (3). Cameron Warren had two RBI and Juan Martinez had the other. For Lake County, Josh Rolette had all three RBI.
W Andy Fisher (Illinois) 2-1 0.00 ERA
L Eli Lingos 2-3 4.46 ERA
SV Matt Pidich (5) 2,41 ERA
