Atlanta (2-5) once again got poor quarterback play, from former Georgia Bulldog Aaron Murray
(16-22- 135 yards 2 INT'S 1 TD 7 yards rushing). Malachi Jones (Appalachian State) had the lone touchdown by the Legends. In all he had 6 catches and 53 yards. Brandon Radcliff (Louisville) had 6 rushes and 23 yards. Louis Young (Georgia Tech) led the defense with 7 tackles. Dylan Donahue (West Georgia) had the lone sack.

The win clinched a playoff spot for the Apollos. Garrett Gilbert (SMU) 19-23-217 Yards 1 TD) Gilbert by far has been the best quarterback in the league, as he hopes to open some NFL scouts eyes. De'Veon Smith (Michigan) scored 3 touchdowns. In all he had 13 carries but just 40 yards. Charles Johnson (Grand Valley State) had the only receiving touchdown. His day overall was pretty quiet. With 4 catches that went for 31 yards. Jalin Marshall (Ohio State) also had 4 catches that totaled just 26 yards. Deji Olatoye (North Carolina A&T) and Cody Riggs (Notre Dame) each had a pick and 3 tackles. Will Hill III (Florida) and Terence Garvin (WVA) each had a pick. Hill had 6 tackles, while Garvin recorded five.
