Defense was the difference in this one. San Antonio (4-2) turned four turnovers into two touchdowns to blowout Atlanta (2-4). Special teams was another big difference in this one with the Mission's Greg Ward, Jr. (Houston) returning a punt 79 yards, for a big score. He started to his left, then reversed field and ran 79 yards up the right sideline for a touchdown to put the Legends up by twenty.
Logan Woodside (Toledo) had another good game ( 17-23- 164 yards 2 Touchdowns). His offensive line was not as good as last week as they allowed two sacks. Kenneth Farrow, II (Houston) had a rushing touchdown but only had 35 yards on 9 carries. Mekale McKay (Cincinnati) and Evan Rodriguez (Temple) both had touchdown catches. Nick Rose (Texas) added a 23 yard field goal.
The defense scored a touchdown, when Derron Smith (Fresno State) picked off a Murray pass and took it 87 yards for a touchdown, marking Smith's third interception and second pick six in his past two games. De'Vante Bausby (Pittsburgh State) and Zack Sanchez (Oklahoma) also had picks. Jayrone Elliott (Toledo) and Joey Mbu (Houston both had a sack. Duke Thomas (Texas) had six tackles and recovered a fumble. Darnell Leslie (Monmouth) also had six tackles.

Atlanta sees their two game winning streak come to an quick end and now have to face a really mad Orlando team next week.
Aaron Murray (Georgia) 31-40 215 yards and 1 Touchdown 3 Interceptions. He was pulled for Peter Pujals (Holy Cross0 4-6 17 yards. Tarean Folston (Notre Dame) had the lone touchdown for Atlanta and it came on a catch. His day overall was not very productive (5 catches 8 yards 1 TD/ 4 Rushes 13 yards. Seantavius Jones (Valdosta State) had 6 catches, while Keith Towbridge (Louisville) had five.
Ed Reynolds, Jr. (Stanford) had six tackles. J.T. Jones (Miami, Ohio) and Tracy Sprinkle (Ohio State) each recorded a sack.
