Re: 2019 Cincinnati Reds
Beyond ready for Opening Day! I’ve been keeping up with Spring Training each day so far (have only been televised twice from what I’ve seen). I am a fan of what I’ve seen thus far! Good win today for the Redlegs

Re: 2019 Cincinnati Reds
Wheelersburg graduate Andrew Burleson is now the team Doctor for the Cincinnati Reds. He is a orthopedic surgeon for Beacon orthopedics and the Reds doctor. Wow! What a awesome accomplishment. Congrats to Dr. Burleson and the Wheelersburg community.

5 Reds reassigned to the minor league camp, of those, one was a big name, Brandon Finnegan.

He's definitely capable and has the talent to be a #1. He just actually has to show it on the mound.

Expected to miss 8-12 weeks. Definitely not the way you want to begin the season, with your All-Star second baseman on the DL. But, injuries happen unfortunately.
Re: 2019 Cincinnati Reds
Unfortunately injuries do happen and it seems that the ghosts of the last few years are lingering over the Reds. I know it is only spring training, but the Reds are 8-17 thru the 24th. Given that you tend to play as you practice, should our optimism about 2019 now be tempered?Chieftain2009 wrote: ↑Sun Mar 24, 2019 9:28 pmExpected to miss 8-12 weeks. The report said that it was a severe groin strain. It was like a week ago.VetteMan wrote: ↑Fri Mar 29, 2019 12:13 pmWhen and what kind of injury did Scooter sustain ?Chieftain2009 wrote: ↑Sun Mar 24, 2019 9:28 pmExpected to miss 8-12 weeks.
