First thing is which players are not going to be resigned or retiring.

Like the O Line you have the 2 young tackles but you have the 2 old tackles starting. You can only keep so many. Kicker but not a priority in the draft. Then McCarron what may happen.

The need of DB is always there with the pass happy teams. Can't have to many quality DB's. Much like Seattle who still had good reserves when starters were out.
With the high pick the Bengals need to pick the best available player available. Which could make the Bengals think about a player like RB Leonard Fournette. Since RB's had been dropping in past years but Dallas picking Zeke last year made a big difference. Fournette if healthy could be a big play maker. Worth the pick if available. Bengals do need someone besides Green who can break a big play. Didn't like hearing Green was missing meetings at the end of the year. Not sure if true.

Offensive lineman are needed depending how the coaches feel about the two young tackles. Guard and center is more of a need.
WR need of a deep threat and play maker.
DLine help
More looking for depth. If McCarron leaves a backup QB.

One mock draft has Alabama LB Reuban Foster going to the Bengals. Which would be a big help. Athletic ability size and strength would add to the defense.
Then another one has a LB/DE from Missouri Charles Harris. Not to sold on his fit as compared to Foster.
So LB seems to be what some think is a need.

One to think about on defense if available is Jabril Peppers from UM. With his size and speed moving him to safety. Then allowing him more freedom to make plays and help on running plays. Then add some plays on offense would add excitement to the Bengals offense.

Problem is many players like Marv as a person. A hidden problem maybe AJ Green if he was missing meetings and this happened before. Sure he was hurt this year but a diva WR mixed in with some of the other characters not a good mix.

As for the kicker I looked at one rating system for the draft only 3 may get drafted. Just have to see how they work out on a NFL field first before even thinking about it.

After seeing the list of who could go both Lines need work. The O Line is Whitworth going to resign. He is close to the decline in skills. Which is why the Bengals drafted Cedric Ogbuehi who is still having some trouble. If they do not think he can overcome that maybe think about moving him to guard. Winston finished his 10th year so how long he wants to play. Good team player and helpful to the younger players. Fischer started playing better and moved around some as an extra blocker in short yardage. Zietler played well but will want big money. Which he probably will go elsewhere to get. Center Free agent TJ Johnson took over with a few games to go from Bodine. The other guard position was not consistent.

The Bengals need to improve coaching to get more out of their players. Always value in the middle rounds. If one of the high rated tackles are there in the first round they need to think about it and shifting players around.

burkhead is quickly becoming one of my favorite bengals , love watching him as one of the children of the corn at Nebraska, and the giants are trying very hard to get whitworth. would hate to lose him, he's a lifelong Bengal and one of the best. but he is getting long in the tooth by nfl standards. zeitler is awesome and deserves to get a raise as well as burkhead. really don't want to lose aj, but had a bad feeling about him for a while now.i'd dump pacman and burfict on to somebody else like hot lead. pacman is warshed up. and burfict may be the best linebacker in the nfl, if you could put a shock collar on him at the whistle.and the coaching just stinks, we have had as much talent last 4/5 years as anybody in the league. need a bellcow of a running back. and some new linemen.

Burkhead played well when he had the chance on offense but even better all year on special teams. With Brossard coming off an injury he would be a good player to have. But good RB's are able to be found all the time.
McCarron has value but the Otzwieller in Houston will make some teams want to see more on field before overpaying.
Crap Man played very good times but then you deal with the Crap.
Berfect played very well at times but will always have the chance to go off. Much like former NBA player Dennis Rodman.
Zietler will the Bengals pay up and will he think the Bengals will turn around. Which can also be said about Whitworth. The Giants saw the weak link at OT and he could be a big help in a Super Bowl push. Since Whitworth does not have to many good years left.

A lot of talk about Whitworth going elsewhere. Nick Mangold was released by the Jets. Getting Mangold would give Whitworth reason to stay. If the young tackles are ready to start moving Whitworth back to Guard. Sure would give options to beef up that offensive line.

I would love to snag mangold, but he's getting long in the tooth as well. I really dig whitworth a career long Bengal. but he's got a best maybe 2/3 years left. would love to see him get a ring before he leaves.

Yes he is getting older but this team will not stay together for to many more years. Mangold is a good option for now. Getting a good young center can learn from him. Getting Mangold can help to keep key players and maybe bring in free agents. As free agent place kicker from LA Rams Greg Zuelein would be great for the kicking game.
