Ross has some injury problems and is a small guy. The Bengals could have traded back and still picked up Ross. As some teams have been giving up a lot of draft picks to move up in the first 13 picks. Ross with his speed may be a very good player if he can stay healthy. He is a game changer on any play. Now if AJ Green does not pout like he did when injured last year. Gives the Bengals big play WR's like they had before last year.

I still think they could have traded back and still got Ross with an extra pick or two.
Cook said that he is not going to bring his buddies from his home area with him. They are said to not be of very good character. Which is why he is falling. I think a team will trade up to get him. If Lamp is still there that will be a good pick and a need to make the offense go. Samuel would be a good player who can run and catch from different positions. I like former OSU WR Noah Brown in the later rounds. He could sure help in the red zone with his height and long arms.

Joe Mixon second round pick after trading back and getting a 4th round pick. Mixon very talented player. The one off field video of hitting the girl. Will be talked about for years and will have some protests. Mixon has not been in any trouble since and has worked to do better. Bernard coming off an injury and Hill having some off . Maybe Hill is available to trade.
Mixon being a good draft pick you need to wait at least 5 years. That gives time for the negatives to to be put in the past. Now if Pac Man and Burfect can leave the negatives in the past.

Bengals drafted 3 D Linemen and 1 O Lineman. So they are counting on the two 3rd year Offensive tackles. Getting younger on the D Line with more speed and pass rush. Two speed WR's one small and the other 6'3. Should be good options and if Boyd comes around more from last year. Adding a TE with Eiffert missing to many games is good. Picked up a good kicker that really hurt last year. Picking up just 1 CB with all the talent available was not to good. Even keeping Jones and his troubles are getting up in age. They need to start getting help. Mixon wants to prove he is a good guy that has learned from his mistake. Could be pushing Hill out.

A good draft. Hopefully Ross stays healthy. He is a good returner but have to protect him some from injuries. Mixon can return kicks also. The Bengals have not been much in the return game. With Jones having some good returns but to many short returns as a part time returner. Erickson not consistent either. Not getting a replacement for Burkhead on special teams leaves an opening for some undrafted players.

head scratcher of a draft in my opinion. not gonna say displeased. but a lot a if's. if ross is healthy, if mixon can make good on a 2nd chance. etc.

Some experts have it rated the best draft of anybody and the Browns second, not sure what they are smoking but I hope they are right.

Burfect goes low hit on GIO. What an idiot. Coaches mad started a fight with offensive players. Great way to bond as a team. They said the hit would have brought a flag in a game. To do that to Gio coming off knee injury from last year. May get to the point where he is just not worth the trouble to have him on the team.

Brown seems to have a thing for Pacman. He plays well for 90% of the time. That 10% sure can be a headache. Burfect is like walking in a minefield. You are feeling good then one bad step and that is that. Going low on Gio the first week of practice just shows his mindset.

Keep making excuse for those two if the Bengals do not make the playoffs should help to get rid of Marvin Lewis.

Marvin Lewis is taking some time off for undisclosed medical issue.Maybe good time to step away from coaching. The Special Team Coordinator is acting Head Coach. This could help to bring the team together or tear it apart with Burfect other others not being controlled.

Marvin is back at practice.
Rumors about MaCarron being traded has been stated as False News.
Former players including Anthony Munoz have been very impressed with Mixon in practice. That would really help the Bengals this year. With Gio coming back from injury. Just now getting the RB's their touches. Would give options more against certain teams. Much like how the Pats game plan for certain teams.
