Who is your MOVL favorite in '25?

I'm not even sure who's still in the league, but Caldwell has some talented kids back. Monroe Central too.

Looking back at last years roster for Caldwell they lost Crock (99% of their offense) and 2 Wr’s one of which only played a few games for injury. I’d expect them to be respectable. No idea who the QB will be but i’d think they take a step back from a football player perspective, Crock was pretty good and nobody else really touched the ball. I’d say the line should be improved, the Leake kid was decent in the backfield too. They need some playmakers outside. Defense was solid up front last year and bad bad in the secondary. I’ve been trying to figure out who all they play, looks like they dropped Barnesville and Toronto. I’d say Waterford, Fort and MC on their schedule will be solid. Trail and Edison ok. Without Barnesville MOVL will be bad as Shadyside, River, Frontier and Bridgeport will be bad. Hearing Shenandoah can barely field a team. Whoever wins Caldwell/MC wins it. Those two should be playoff teams.

Tuslaw hasn't been relevant for a few years. 2-8 last 2 years. Only won 9 of last 51 according to 4seasons site. it's in Stark county.

Thanks! Based on that I'd say they're locked for 5 wins (Tuslaw, Rosecrans, Shadyside, River, Shenandoah). I'd say they won't be favored against Waterford or Fort Frye this year based on what people are saying on here. Probably toss up games with Trail, MC and Edison. Somewhere between 5-5 and 8-2. 6 wins probably locks them in the playoffs. My prediction for the MOVL:
1. Caldwell
2. MC
3. Shadyside
4. River
5. Shenandoah

*Not sure how you rank the other side with only two teams, Bridgeport and Frontier lol.

Shenandoah's standout QB not playing this year is what I read on OVathletic site and will concentrate on track as he is hurdle phenom.

Hard to imagine any team in the MOVL getting the best of Monroe Central this year.
