The question is, do they win region 19? If so, do they win state? Anything less is underachieving for a team loaded with the kind of talent they have.

We are no longer in the same division and region as South Range. They look very good first 2 games. Dumped 37 and 42

Did what they’re supposed to do. Let’s pump the brakes, long way to go.

Harvest Prep in our region is no slouch either. We have to take this one game at a time. If we can clear the Johnson Central hurdle and stay injury free I like our shot. Good luck to the Hornets, keep rolling!

18 - Coldwater ?
19 - Harvest Prep ?
20 - Preble Shawnee ?

Don't forget Wheelersburg. After getting thumped 40-6 in last years regular season game they came back and knocked Ironton out of the playoffs.

Definitely those schools, but come playoff time, a lot of threats can pop up. Let’s be honest, no one thought Burg was a threat to Ironton in last years playoff game.

Still 8 games to go before playoffs. Lots can and will happen.

Speaking of teams getting better as the season goes, this Ironton team hasn't hit their stride yet and they have the highest ceiling.

They are expected to be 2-0. They should be undefeated and win a state title. No excuses.

Not a shock in the slightest. If they don't go undefeated to the State title game then that is a disappointment. I think the bigger shock is teams are keeping it close

They are replacing their entire OL and DL. Any other team that does that in SEO is not going to fare well. They’ve played two of the best teams in SEO at their home fields and both return majority of their guys and beat them both. Ironton isn’t clicking yet but when they do. This team is going to be scary.

Literally no one is questioning the ceiling. And no one is questioning that they have played 2 very good teams. I would be questioning why they are not rolling teams with this talent we hear about.

Cause it’s all about line play in football. Ohio State had best talent in skill in country last year and didn’t win national championship. Cause they weren’t good upfront on either side.

I believe that this win against Jackson on the road is going to propel Ironton the rest of the season. The way they overcome adversity against Jackson to win at the end was pretty impressive. These kinds of wins are what brings teams together. Good luck tigers
