You don’t think Fairland OR Johnson Central will give them a run for their money?

Maybe give them a run ,but I don't see Ironton losing a regular season game now,I honestly thought Jackson would get them

This was a game that last year was a one score win for Ironton. If they play sloppy and let Fairland hang around that’ll be the only way I see them losing. I can see Ironton by a few scores

Ironton by 28-35 over Fairland. Johnson Central will be a different animal.

Ironton should win by a couple of scores but Fairland is more than capable of winning. Not a gimme for sure.

I watched the Ironton players post game interview last night, and it really provided a ton of insight as to this teams personality. If you take away the hype, and the social media promotion, and all the talk of D1 commits, or transfers, or recruits, and after last nights game, what you find out is, this is a team that realizes they still have a ton of improvements to make while being also aware they have the highest ceiling of any team in seo and quite possibly their division. Also you discovered last night, despite all the news clippings, these are humble and hard nosed gritty kids who bring their hard hats and lunch pales with em to work. You can't say enough about it. For as talented as Ironton obviously is, they match that talent with an absolute hard nosed, blue collar, edge. Not only is this team the most talented group on the field any given week, but they are also the hardest working. The ceiling is extremely high and I for one cannot find any reason why so many people on this site begrudge crediting Ironton for their success and acknowledging their potential. Sure they can out talent you on some occassions, but they can also outwork and out grit and out grind you. Any team with that much heart, that much talent, and that much work ethic is going to be a hard out, and quite frankly, they haven't even hit their stride yet.

Fairland is a solid, well coached group. They are not Ironton.

Tigers do pretty much what they want vs the dragons.

I think they both will, Fairland is always a good game and Johnson Central has been a power house for a long time and has beat their opponents by a large margin so far.

Any word on Felder? I know he played defense after limping off the field but didn’t play anymore offense.
