Coal Grove in 2020

Post by Half Slice »

How will Coal Grove be next year? What are expectations in the village for next year after a tough season in 2019? Do they have a week one opponent for 2020?

Good chance 2020 is very similar to 2019. End of the day there's just not a ton of football talent roaming the halls right now. Hopefully the young men work hard in the weight room and have an improved season next year!

They will be fine. They always have the numbers. Hopefully they hit the weights hard and get back to that old school ground and pound. Ironton is proving you can win that way and that's usually Coal Groves MU.

I know Lucas always runs a great weight program.

At best 3-7. My guess would be the same as this year 2-8.

You really know nothing about Coal Grove football do you if you did you would know that we have other kids to fill the couple of spots on the O line that we lost there won’t be any freshman starting there next year and to think that they will only win 2 games also shows something about you I have all the faith in the world that Jay will have these boys ready next season they are already putting in the work in the weight room so if you are a true hornet how bout getting behind this team with some positive comments

I wish jay would get some help on his coaching staff instead of him trying to do everything. He needs a defensive coordinator.

Truth is CG has still not recovered from being abandoned by their head coach two years ago. Sorry to hurt anyone's feelings, but 3-7 is probably the best they will do.
